Research Team
Rishika Chauhan

Rishika is an Associate Fellow at the Indian Pugwash Society. She recently submitted her PhD thesis to the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for India Studies in China West Normal University, China. She has held teaching and research positions at the University of Delhi and the Observer Research Foundation in New Delhi, and worked as a consultant for Boston University, USA. Rishika’s research interests include nuclear history, international sanctions and international relations theory. Her articles have appeared in Foreign Policy, The National Interest, and the Routledge Handbook of Asia in World Politics, among others.

Diya deep Singh

Diya deep Singh is a Research Associate at the Indian Pugwash Society. Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for New Economic Studies (CNES) at O.P Jindal Global University and has interned with the Centre for Defence Economics and Industry at Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA). She completed her Masters in Economics with a specialization in Development Studies from Symbiosis International University and Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She was also awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Methods and Application of Social Science Research by the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru. Her research interests include nuclear policy perspectives of East and West Asia and defence procurement and modernization trends in developing countries. Her articles have appeared in IDSA’s African Trends and O.P Jindal Global University publications, among others.

Rajrajeshwari Singh

Rajrajeshwari Singh is a Research Associate at the Indian Pugwash Society. Previously, she worked as an intern with the Internal security and South Asia centre at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA). She completed her Masters in Geopolitics and International Relations at Manipal University and Bachelors in political science from the University of Mumbai. Her research interests include disarmament and nuclear trends in South Asian Countries. Her articles and book reviews have appeared in IDSA as well as in strategic analysis.
